FREQUENTLY ASKED AUESTIONS

Q: What if I don’t live close enough to come see you?

A: I also offer remote coaching and online consultations thanks to modern technology. Please check my list of services and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or are interested in working with me. There are also some credible online programs that I would highly recommend!

Q: I am pregnant and want to exercise.  Can I be a part of your classes?

A: As long as it is okay with your doctor, absolutely! Learning strategies while you are pregnant is a great way to set yourself up for a more successful recovery postpartum.

Q: I am newly postpartum, and I want guidance on my training. I want to make sure I heal my core and pelvic floor.

A: My classes will be focused on this; however, everyone will have a slightly different path depending on how your body responds to each movement. You will receive individualized instruction within the group setting.

I also offer consultations. In these one-on-one sessions, I will teach you movement strategies which will allow you to continue the fitness choices that you love while healing your body at the same time.

It is also highly recommended that you see a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist prior to beginning any exercise program postpartum, even if you have no symptoms and had an “easy delivery.” I am more than happy to work with your therapist to make sure what you are doing in your workouts will help you with your recovery. Check out the free download on my website for very detailed information on how to find one of these professionals. I have a local recommendation that I am happy to share.

Q: I haven’t exercised in a long time, and I feel weak and/or I am symptomatic of diastasis recti, prolapse and/or incontinence.

A: Our community is a welcoming one, addresses all of these possible symptoms, and is for ALL fitness levels. My classes and/or personal training sessions will prepare you for all of the fitness endeavors including: Yoga, CrossFit, Stroller Strides, Pilates, OrangeTheory, Zumba, home DVD workouts, running, weightlifting, bootcamp, spin class, and, most importantly, being able to pick up your child(ren) without pain or symptoms.

Also, please consider finding a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist located near you. I have some local recommendations that I am happy to share. If you aren’t local, please check out my free download on my website for very detailed information on how to find one of these professionals.

Q: Is it too late to address symptoms that I have had for years?

A: Postpartum is forever. It is never, ever too late to get help!

Q: What if I want to return to a high level of fitness?

A: Group classes or personal training would both be great for this goal. I create programs where fitness and rehab unite to promote long-term athleticism.

Q: How can I follow you and learn more?

A: Get on my email list by downloading the free document. I send out monthly newsletters with tips and tricks on how to take control of your recovery.
